Byl jsem však uvězněn a křížení nabylo nových a hrozivějších rozměrů, v nichž se utápějí nejen chovatelé, ale i hlavní uzurpátor moci a podvodník v chovu koní…”.

Kyarizov
Geldy Kyarizov FRS (narozen 1951 ~ Turkmenská sovětská socialistická republika) je mezinárodně uznávaný chovatel koní plemene achal-teke a bývalý ministr pro koně vlády Turkmenistánu (Vládní sdružení Turkmenská atlantika)[1][2].
V roce 2002 byl Kjarizov zatčen administrativou Saparmurata Nijazova na základě obvinění ze zneužití úřadu a nedbalosti.Mezinárodní společenství tento proces uznalo za neopodstatněný a politicky motivovaný.Kjarizov byl odsouzen k šesti letům odnětí svobody.[3][14] . Kjarizov byl propuštěn v roce 2007, v roce 2015 opustil Turkmenistán a nyní žije v exilu, v Praze v České republice. [4][5][6]
V roce 2024, po letech právních sporů s Turkmenistánem, vydal Výbor OSN pro lidská práva v červenci 2024 přelomové rozhodnutí, v němž uznal závažné porušování jeho práv ze strany turkmenského státu[7][8][9][15][21].
Kjarizov byl dlouholetým zastáncem Akhal-Teke a po rozpadu Sovětského svazu v roce 1991 a získání nezávislosti Turkmenistánu se zasloužil o oživení jejich osudů. Tehdejší turkmenský prezident Saparmurat Nijazov, který jeho roli ocenil, pozval Kjarizova do své vlády jako ministra pro koně (1997-2002); ta se následně transformovala na turkmenskou státní agenturu Atlary[01][04].
Kjarizov, který měl za úkol založit plemennou knihu achalteků pomocí analýzy DNA, zjistil, že do plemene achalteků byla zavlečena plnokrevná krev, zejména pro dostihové účely. Kjarizovovo rozhodnutí zveřejnit tyto informace bylo považováno za hrozbu pro chovatele koní, kteří z křížení profitovali, a vedlo k jeho upadnutí v nemilost u Nijazovovy vlády[12].
V lednu 2002 byl Kjarizov zatčen ministerstvem národní bezpečnosti (MNS). V dubnu 2002 byl odsouzen k šesti letům odnětí svobody, v srpnu 2006 byl Kjarizov převezen do věznice s přísným režimem (Owadan-depe). Na Kjarizovovy stížnosti týkající se nezákonného věznění a přemístění nebylo reagováno. Ředitel věznice Kjarizovovi sdělil, že nemá právo si stěžovat, nemá jméno ani příjmení a od té doby je znám jako “č. 3”. Kjarizov byl propuštěn v roce 2007 Nijazovovým nástupcem Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedowem[01][04].
Po propuštění byl Kjarizov a jeho rodinní příslušníci neustále sledováni, jeho telefon byl odposloucháván a korespondence cenzurována. Kjarizovův majetek byl zabaven a jeho koně odvezeni do prezidentského hřebčína. Kjarizov, kterému bylo zakázáno opustit Turkmenistán[16] a který byl vyloučen z komunity chovatelů koní, strávil následující roky bojem s turkmenským státem o restituci[01][04][19].
Kjarizov byl i po propuštění ve velmi špatném zdravotním stavu a potřeboval naléhavou odbornou péči, ale nesměl opustit zemi. Nakonec mu bylo 14. září 2015 uděleno povolení k vycestování, jeho dceři Sofii a švagrové bylo povolení k vycestování odepřeno. Díky mezinárodnímu tlaku úřady o šest dní později ustoupily a 20. září 2015 se jeho dcera a švagrová připojily k rodině v Moskvě[19][20].
V roce 2015 se Kjarizov a jeho rodina přestěhovali do Ruské federace a v dubnu 2016 do České republiky, kde jim byl udělen status uprchlíka.[8]
V roce 2015 se stal členem Královské geografické společnosti a členem mezinárodního sdružení jezdců na koních Long Riders’ Guild se sídlem ve švýcarském Curychu.[25]
V roce 2017 založil Kyarizov se svou ženou Julií Serebryannik a švagrovou Dianou Serebryannik organizaci Práva a svobody občanů Turkmenistánu. Cílem RFTC je dosáhnout dodržování práv a svobod občanů Turkmenistánu. RFTC je členem Boost, regionálního akceleračního programu pro inovátory se sociálním dopadem v Evropě a střední Asii. Boost je rozvojovým programem OSN[27].
Dne 9. července 2024 vydal Výbor OSN pro lidská práva rozhodnutí ve věci Geldy Kyarizov proti Turkmenistánu (CCPR/C/141/D/3097/2018). Stížnost byla podána v reakci na hrubé porušování Kyarizovových lidských práv, včetně nezákonného zadržování, mučení a konfiskace jeho majetku. Po důkladném prozkoumání Výbor dospěl k závěru, že Turkmenistán je povinen Kyarizova plně odškodnit. Kjarizovovi bylo přiznáno 7 000 000 000 USD. Turkmenistán dosud restituce neprovedl[21].

Ašchabad – Moskva
V roce 1988 ujel Kjarizov na koni Achal-Teke z Ašchabadu do Moskvy, což je vzdálenost přes 4 000 kilometrů (včetně 370 km vyprahlou pouští Karakum) za dva měsíce, což je o 24 dní méně než předchozí rekord z roku 1935[10].[ 11][12][13] V obou případech bylo cílem upozornit sovětské úřady na úpadek plemene a prokázat jeho výjimečnou odolnost[14].
Yanardag
Yanardag (turkmensky Ýanardag/Янардаг “Ohnivá hora”) je achaltécký hřebec, který se narodil v roce 1991, v roce nezávislosti Turkmenistánu na Sovětském svazu, v hřebčíně Kyarizov. Yanardag je vyobrazen ve středu turkmenského státního znaku. Yanardag, který byl v roce 1999 jmenován světovým šampionem Akhal-Teke, byl Kjarizovem darován Saparmuratu Nijazovovi[6][14] V říjnu 2013 Turkmenistán oznámil záměr vytvořit na počest Nijazovova oblíbeného koně památník. Yanardagův zlatý pomník byl odhalen v roce 2014 v Ašchabadu. [23][24]
Akhal-Teke a mitochondriální genomy.
Výzkum zveřejněný v červnu 2024 prostřednictvím Multidisciplinárního digitálního publikačního institutu (CH) a Národního centra pro biotechnologické informace (USA) podporuje předchozí studie naznačující genealogii potenciálně sahající 3 000 let zpět.
Studie analyzovala DNA z pozůstatků koní nalezených v hrobkách Shihuyao(44,09° s. š., 86,05° v. d.). Bylo zjištěno, že pocházejí z období dynastií Han a Tang v čínském Sin-ťiangu (přibližně před 2200 až 1100 lety). Byly získány dva vysoce kvalitní mitochondriální genomy a analyzovány pomocí sekvenování nové generace.
Byla zjištěna blízká genetická příbuznost mezi koněm dynastie Tchang a koněm Akhal-Teke podle primitivního haplotypu koně G1. Historické důkazy naznačují, že při jejich šíření hrála zásadní roli starověká Hedvábná stezka. Kromě toho byla zpřístupněna matrilineární historie koně Akhal-Teke, která naznačuje, že raná domestikace plemene byla určena pro vojenské účely.
Tato studie představuje první identifikaci původní pozice nukleotidů Akhal-Teke u starověkých koní z Číny. Byla také objevena možná cesta šíření mateřských linií Akhal-Teke, kterou podporuje historie rozsáhlého obchodu a kulturní výměny podél Hedvábné stezky. To naznačuje, že poptávka po vojenských koních hrála v tomto konkrétním historickém kontextu důležitou roli při rané domestikaci akhal-teka[26] *.

Papoušek finského velvyslance.
V roce 1993 daroval Nijazov tehdejšímu britskému premiérovi Johnu Majorovi akhal-teka jménem Maksat. Britský diplomat z moskevského velvyslanectví byl vyslán, aby zařídil karanténu. Po mnohahodinovém zpoždění diplomat prosil recepčního jménem “ubohých turkmenských koní”, kteří “stáli čtyři a půl dne ve vagonu”, a v odpověď vyvolal… “smutný příběh papouška finského velvyslance”, jehož osud nebyl nikdy, nikdy odhalen[17][18].
